Molly lived in Pennsylvania and began to work professionally as a teenager at the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her debut professional show was The Snow Queen. She portrayed Little Red Ridinghood shortly after performing in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production, for which she won a Barrymore Award nomination. She reprised the role when making her Broadway debut at fifteen with Into the Woods, on Broadway. Molly was recognized as one of the nominees for a Drama League Award. Molly appeared on Broadway in the 2004 revival of Fiddler on the Roof. She then attended Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with the degree of a B.A. She graduated in 2008 with an B.A. During this time she also appeared in a film for the first time, Disney The College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. Following graduation, Molly performed in several Off-Broadway productions, including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and also in television work including Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly has appeared in regional plays like The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in Barrington Stage Company's production and North Shore Music Theatre's production of 2008 as well as the Westport Country Playhouse 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank, in which she played Anne. Molly's most well-known role was that of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010), in which she portrays Ali her teenage daughter. Molly also appeared in Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written by and starring Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008.
