Emma Stone
Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean
Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 in 1988.
She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the founder and CEO of contracting
company, Stone Contracting. She is of Swedish, German and British Isles
descent. Stone began her stage career when she was a young member of the Valley
Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in the
Kenneth Grahame production "The Wind in the Willows". Through her
teens Stone was part of numerous shows before she decided to make acting her
profession. Officially, she created a PowerPoint presentation that was backed
by Madonna's "Hollywood" and titled "Project Hollywood", to
convince her parents to allow her go to school and relocate to Los Angeles. The
pitch succeeded and she and her mother moved to LA with her schooling completed
at home. There she would spend her time auditioning. Her TV debut was when she
was cast as Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality show In Search of the Partridge
Family (2004). This led to a variety of minor TV roles over the years. After
several successful performances she was chosen to play the role of Jules in
Superbad (2007). Her success was as Olive in Easy A (2010) followed by several
more roles. She attended Xavier College Preparatory, Phoenix, Arizona. Although
she's known as redhead, her actual hair color is blonde. Judd Apatow suggested
that she change her hair's color to suit Superbad (2007). The actress was so
impressed, she chose to keep the color. When she was 15, she convinced her
parents that she was able to move to Hollywood. She did this by creating a
PowerPoint presentation titled Project Hollywood. She began acting at the age
of 11 years old and was a part of Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here she
performed on 16 stages. She also performed with the theatre's comedy improv
group. Caylee Cowan was also an actor at Valley Youth Theatre.
